The HENGNA Paraffin Block Storage Cabinet is built specifically for this purpose. It stores paraffin wax blocks—also called tissue cassettes or paraffin blocks—safely and systematically. With a high-density drawer system and smooth-glide ball bearing slides, this cabinet makes archiving and retrieving blocks fast and easy.
This is professional-grade laboratory furniture. It is made entirely of steel, designed for decades of daily use in busy research environments.
What This Cabinet Stores
This cabinet is designed for paraffin-embedded tissue blocks. These are the small wax blocks created during pathology processing that contain tissue samples for sectioning.

This cabinet uses a 5-drawer per section configuration. Each drawer is sized specifically for paraffin block storage.

Assembly Instructions
The cabinet ships in four sections plus base. Assembly steps:
Position the base on level floor. Adjust leveling feet if using fixed base.
Place first section onto base. It sits securely with interlocking tabs.
Stack second section onto first. Align carefully.
Continue with third and fourth sections.
Test all drawers for smooth operation.
For mobile base: Install casters before stacking sections.
Two people should lift each section into place. Sections are heavy but manageable.

A: Yes, you can. The modular design means you can purchase one, two, three, or four sections. Many labs start with one or two sections and add more as their block collection grows. You can also mix section types—for example, use three block sections and one slide section in the same stack. All sections have the same width and depth, so they stack together regardless of internal drawer configuration.
