1. What is β-PPH?
β-PPH is made by crystallizing homopolymerized polypropylene and β-crystal nucleating agent in the molten state to produce β-crystal PPH resin, which is then made into pipes and fittings through extrusion or injection molding equipment. This can improve the appearance gloss, thermal performance, impact strength and toughness of the finished products.
2. Characteristics of β-PPH pipes and fittings:
1. Excellent impact resistance (β-crystals belong to the hexagonal crystal system, and this crystal phase structure greatly improves the impact strength of polypropylene)
2. Long-term high-temperature creep resistance and environmental stress cracking resistance
3. Excellent pressure resistance (MRS10)
4. UV resistance
5. Surface wear resistance and easy processability
6. Good chemical resistance, resistant to acids, alkalis, salts and various chemicals
7. Good heat resistance (stable performance when used at 70℃ for a long time), the load heat distortion temperature is 95℃
8. High rigidity (significantly higher than polyethylene. When making products with high rigidity, the wall thickness of products made of polypropylene can be reduced by about 10% compared with those made of HDPE).
9. Tensile yield strength reaches 30MPa
