1. What is PE-RT II type pipe?
· PE-RT II type pipe is a thermoplastic pipe made of resin particles formed by copolymerizing polyethylene as the base material with butene and hexene, and then integrally extruded by a screw extruder.
2. Characteristics of PE-RT II type pipes and fittings:
· Stress crack resistance - The unique vinyl side chain distribution structure makes the formed pipe have good crack resistance. The slow crack growth notch test of the pipe exceeds 2000h, and the full notch creep test passes 10000h.
· High temperature resistance - The test at 110℃ exceeds 17,000 hours.
· Low temperature resistance - The low temperature brittleness is as low as -40℃.
· Pressure-bearing capacity - The hydrostatic test has exceeded 10000h. From 20℃ to 110℃, there is no inflection point in the hydrostatic predicted strength curve before 8700h.
· Corrosion resistance - It can resist most acids, alkalis, salts, liquids and organic solvents.
· Low thermal conductivity - The thermal conductivity is equivalent to 1% of that of steel pipes. The temperature drop per kilometer is less than 0.1℃. Using PE-RT II type insulated pipes to replace traditional steel pipes can improve energy efficiency, save coal consumption, reduce pipe network water replenishment, and is conducive to achieving clean heating.
· Hygiene - Colorless, odorless and non-toxic.
3. Application scope:
· Due to its good impact resistance, crack resistance, flexibility and long-term creep performance, as well as corrosion resistance, long service life, small hydraulic loss, good insulation effect, convenient and fast construction, etc., it is suitable for:
