2. Working Principle
The tipping bucket mechanism collects rainfall through a stainless-steel funnel and filter mesh. When a preset amount of water accumulates in one side of the tipping bucket, it tips over under gravity, triggering a magnetic reed switch to generate a pulse signal. Each pulse corresponds to a fixed rainfall amount, which can be recorded and transmitted to data loggers or monitoring systems.
