General Electric IS201STCIH8A Dry contact input terminal block
The IS201STCIH8A is a 24-channel coated single-point isolated dry contact input terminal board (STCI = Terminal Board Single-Point Isolation Contact Input, H8A = coated version) for the GE Mark VIe Speedtronic platform. Its core functions are identical to the IS201STCIH2A, with the main differences being the coating type and hazardous area certification. It is compatible with the coated I/O module IS221PDIAH1B and is suitable for high-isolation discrete signal acquisition scenarios in harsh environments such as humidity, dust, and chemical corrosion, as well as TMR redundant systems.
Core Hardware and Interfaces
Terminals and Connections: 24-channel dry contact input, single-point isolated (each channel has an independent common terminal), fence-type terminal block; 3 DC-37-pin connectors (JR1/JS1/JT1, corresponding to the TMR R/S/T channels); 1 3-position power female connector for excitation power/common terminal; 1 37-pin female D-type connector for direct connection to the VTCC/VCRC I/O processor board. Signal and Protection: Magnet voltage 24 VDC (wide range 16–32 VDC), independent common terminal for each channel; current limit of 2.5 mA per channel; 4 ms hardware filtering + TVS surge protection + PTC resettable fuse, resisting contact bounce, EMI, and overvoltage reverse connection.
Coating and Protection: Special PCB conformal coating, suitable for harsher chemical corrosion and high humidity environments; metal casing, natural heat dissipation, fanless; built-in ID identification, the module can automatically identify the model.
System Compatibility: Compatible with Mark VIe Speedtronic coated systems; compatible with IS221PDIAH1B coated I/O modules; supports single-mode (single connector) and TMR (three connector) deployments.

Hazardous Area Compatibility: Class 1 Div 2/ATEX certified, suitable for use in hazardous area control cabinets, compatible with SIS auxiliary system signal acquisition.
