General Electric IS200STCIS1A Single-Point Isolation Contact
The IS200STCIS1A is a 24-channel single-point isolated dry contact input terminal board (STCI = Terminal Board Single-Point Isolation Contact Input, S1A = Standard Protected Version) for the GE Mark VIeS safety platform. It is compatible with safety discrete I/O modules such as the IS220YDIAS1A, and is used for 24-channel single-point isolated dry contact signal acquisition in SIL 3 safety systems, meeting the requirements for TMR redundancy and hazardous area safety signal acquisition.
Core Hardware and Interfaces
Terminals and Connections: 24-channel dry contact input, single-point isolation (each channel has an independent common terminal); barrier-style terminal block; 3 DC-37 pin connectors (JR1/JS1/JT1, corresponding to the TMR R/S/T channels); 1 3-position power female connector for excitation power/common terminal; 1 37-pin female D-type connector for direct connection to the VTCC/VCRC I/O processor board.
Signal and Protection: Excitation voltage 24 VDC (16–32 VDC), independent common terminal for each channel; current limit of 2.5 mA per channel; 4 ms hardware filtering + TVS surge protection + PTC resettable fuse, resistant to contact bounce, EMI, and overvoltage reverse connection.
Protection and Identification: Standard protective coating, suitable for harsh environments such as dust and humidity; metal casing for natural heat dissipation, fanless; built-in ID identification, the module can automatically identify the model.
System Compatibility: Compatible with Mark VIeS safety systems; compatible with safety discrete I/O modules such as IS220YDIAS1A; supports single-mode (single connector) and TMR (three connector) deployments.
