Product Overview
The A2FE series is a family of high-performance, high-speed fixed-displacement hydraulic motors based on an oblique-shaft axial piston design. Manufactured to deliver reliable power in demanding conditions, these motors are engineered for integration into both open and closed-circuit hydraulic systems. They are renowned for their robust construction, high power density, and ability to operate at sustained high pressures and speeds, making them a preferred choice in heavy-duty mobile and industrial machinery.
Core Technical Features and Design Advantages
The motor's performance stems from its specific design and construction:
Oblique-Shaft Principle: Unlike in-line designs, the motor's drive shaft and cylinder block axis are set at an angle (typically 40° in advanced models). This geometry allows pistons to achieve a long stroke within a compact housing, directly contributing to higher torque output and efficiency.
Fixed Displacement Design: As a fixed displacement unit, the motor's fluid displacement per revolution is constant. This design offers advantages in simplicity, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and reduced energy losses compared to variable-displacement units in many applications, leading to a lower failure rate.
High-Speed & High-Pressure Capability: The A2FE motors are built for high-speed operation, with maximum speeds reaching up to 4,750 rpm depending on the model size. They are rated for continuous pressures up to 35 MPa (350 bar) and can handle peak pressures up to 40-45 MPa (400-450 bar).
Plug-in or "Built-in" Configuration: A key feature of the A2FE variant is its plug-in design. The mounting flange is located at the middle of the housing, allowing the motor to be partially recessed into a machine's gearbox. This "built-in" configuration saves significant space, reduces the overall envelope, and facilitates a direct, compact integration with the drivetrain, commonly seen in applications like excavator travel drives.
Key Performance Enhancements: Critical components are precision-engineered for durability. The cylinder block and port plate use a spherical matching pair, which ensures automatic alignment during rotation, reduces wear, and maintains high volumetric efficiency. The drive shaft is built to withstand substantial radial loads, simplifying installation.
