Don Whitley Scientific (abbreviated as "DWS") in the UK is a company specializing in the research, manufacturing and sales of microbiological scientific instruments. Whitley IncuBox Sealed Culture Jar
A rectangular, stackable sealed culture box that can be used for the anaerobic culture of microorganisms, general microbial culture, or the culture of certain cells.
Product Features:
Anaerobic gas - generating bags and micro - aerobic gas - generating bags can be used to create an anaerobic or micro - aerobic culture environment, and the whole jar can also be placed in an anaerobic workstation.
The culture jars can be stacked in an incubator or workstation, and the empty jar bodies without lids can also be stacked to save laboratory space.
It can hold up to 12 - 14 90mm petri dishes or 5 standard 96 - well multi - well plates, and comes with a petri dish rack for easy transfer of petri dishes.
There are four special clamps attached to the lid, which ensure a tight seal between the lid and the jar body, preventing air leakage, and the fixed clamps are not easy to lose.
The whole culture jar can be placed in a DWS anaerobic workstation, and the lid can be opened to fill the jar with the same gas concentration as in the workstation, which helps maintain the same gas environment inside the jar after it is removed from the workstation.
The culture jar is designed with a safety valve. A certain degree of vacuum does not affect the strength of the jar body. The jar body is hard - wearing and lightweight.
