Packaging and Storage of Tongdun Ionic Interlayer Film
Packaging: The inner packaging uses aluminum-plated film for vacuum packaging, and the outer packaging uses wooden boxes. Both the inner and outer packages are attached with product information certificates.
Storage: It should be stored in a cool and dry place at a temperature below 30℃, avoiding direct sunlight. If the package is opened or damaged, it should be placed in a constant temperature and dehumidified room with a temperature of 18~25℃ and a relative humidity below 25% and used as soon as possible.
Transportation: During transportation, avoid sunlight, rain, heavy pressure, and severe vibration.
Shelf life: The normal storage shelf life is two years. After unpacking, it can be stored for 3 months in a constant temperature and dehumidified room with a temperature of 18~25℃ and a relative humidity below 25%.
Performance Introduction of Tongdun Ionic Interlayer Film
The ionic interlayer film is an ionic film of a copolymer of ethylene and methacrylate, containing a trace amount of sodium metal ions. The adhesion between the film and glass is mainly the result of ionic bond action. Therefore, the adhesion between the ionic interlayer film and glass is much higher than that between the PVB film and glass. Moreover, its hardness is 100 times that of traditional PVB interlayer materials, and its tear strength is 5 times that of PVB interlayer materials. The ionic interlayer film developed by Tongdun has high adhesion performance, optical performance, and mechanical performance, fully meeting the requirements of the laminated safety glass industry for interlayer films. Compared with PVB films, laminated glass with ionic polymer films has the following characteristics:
● Higher strength
Tongdun ionic polymer film laminated glass has higher bending strength than PVB film laminated glass. Under the same glass structure and thickness, it has higher load-bearing and wind pressure resistance performance.
● Lower deflection and larger equivalent glass thickness
Due to its high strength, in architectural design, under the same deflection requirement, Tongdun ionic polymer film laminated glass can be realized with a smaller glass thickness. It is beneficial to reduce the weight of the glass and the weight of the entire support system.
● Better post-breakage safety.
The ionic polymer film has higher tensile strength and tear strength. The laminated glass still has strong supportability after being broken.
● Better optical performance.
The ionic polymer film has higher light transmittance, lower haze, and a low yellow index. After being compounded with ultra-clear glass, it has higher transparency and visual effects.
