TBK11 is an advanced all-sky cloud analysis system with remarkable technological advantages. It can precisely and automatically capture comprehensive data on cloud coverage & cloud type analysis throughout the day, even when fully exposed to sunlight without any obstruction. Its high spatial and temporal resolution ensures more accurate cloud cover calculations.
It finds application in weather and cloud monitoring, solar energy capacity forecasting, atmospheric science, climate research, aviation meteorology, and evaluation of photovoltaic performance. When integrated into solar monitoring systems, it significantly enhances the capability for regional solar resource research and prediction.
TBK11 comprises two main components: an imaging system and an environmental protection system. The imaging system features a high-resolution automatioc camera system with a 180° field of view, using a 6MP camera, and an “fisheye” lens with an anti-reflective coating. It captures visible light images of the entire sky in red, green, and blue wavelengths at regular intervals, with a minimum sampling rate of 30 seconds. The environmental protection system includes temperature control mechanisms and safeguards against rain and snow, tailored to suit different outdoor environments.

1)TBK11 boasts an ultra-wide-angle, high-resolution, full-color sensor, coupled with advanced image AI recognition technology and high-speed cloud monitoring computation models. This enables swift and accurate calculation of solar irradiance data, facilitating solar power capacity prediction and photovoltaic performance assessment.
2)Unattended, continuous real-time observation 24/7. High spatiotemporal resolution, yielding more accurate cloud cover calculations than manual visual estimation or satellite-based detection.
3)Capturing full-day 24-hour visible light color images and generating animated videos of all captured images for the day.
4)Data transmission is achieved by connecting to the internet via a standard network interface card (NIC), allowing the data to be sent to servers or monitoring computers through the network.
5)TBK11's software incorporates a horizon determination tool, offering users enhanced flexibility in meeting their specific needs. With its software, users can define parameters such as the range of zenith angles, areas to be shielded from obstructions, or regions of particular interest. This ensures that the impact of surrounding objects on the observed results is effectively minimized. Moreover, the software enables the generation of JPEG format images, facilitating convenient viewing and editing of the collected data and measurement outcomes.
6)For all conditions, consider TBK11 with integrated rainproof, heating and monitoring devices. Capable of long-term outdoor operation.
7)Integrated computer host, no need for additional workstation installation.
8)The minimum capture frequency of the device is 30 seconds per image.
