Product Description:
Thidiazuron is a plant growth regulator. This product is a white or light yellow powdery solid. It is used as a defoliant in cotton planting. After being absorbed by cotton leaves, it can promote the natural formation of the separation tissue between petioles and stems and fall off. This product is the raw material for the processing of pesticide preparations and shall not be used in crops or other places.
1. After using thidiazuron, it can make the cotton plant itself produce abscisic acid and ethylene, which will cause the petiole and cotton plant to form a separation layer, so that the cotton leaves will fall off by themselves.
2. Thidiazuron can make the leaves transfer nutrients to the young cotton bolls on the upper part of the plant quickly while they are still green, and the cotton plants will not wither and die, achieving the multi-effects of ripening, defoliation, increasing yield and improving quality.
3. Thidiazuron can make cotton mature early, and the cotton bolls will open relatively early and concentratedly, increasing the proportion of pre-frost cotton. Cotton does not contain shells, does not drop fluff, does not fall flowers, increases fiber length, and improves lint, which is conducive to mechanical and manual harvesting.
4. The efficacy of thidiazuron lasts for a long time, and the leaves will fall off in the green state, completely solving the problem of "withering but not falling", reducing the pollution of leaves to machine-picked cotton, and improving the quality and efficiency of mechanized cotton picking operations.
