Capillary tube mat system is an innovative technology developed to replace the conventional radiator heating and air conditioning systems. The heart of system lies in the capillary mats that contain thin polypropylene tubes through which water constantly flows. To heat or cool rooms, hot or cold water runs through the capillary tube mats system to exchange heat with the space air by radiation. They ensure a quick dissipation of the cooling load or a quick supply of the heat requirement.
Owing to their small diameter of only 4.3mm and good flexibility, Sinolanc capillary mats can be embedded close to the surface of ceilings, floor and walls, transforming these building components into easily adjustable cooling and heating surfaces.
Due to the large exchange surfaces, large energy quantities can be transmitted with low temperature differences between the active room surface and the room air.
This means that the system can operate at flow temperatures that are 8-10℃ lower with the same heat emission to the room. For heating purposes, the hot water is usually supplied at 28-32℃, with the return water temperature at 26-30℃. For cooling purposes, , the flow temperature of 16-18℃ with the surface temperature of 17-19℃.
