Working Principle:
The module monitors the operating parameters of the generator, such as terminal voltage, current, and frequency, compares them with preset reference values, and adjusts the excitation current using specific control algorithms (e.g., PID control algorithm). When the generator terminal voltage is lower than the set value, it increases the excitation current to strengthen the magnetic field and improve the induced electromotive force, thereby raising the terminal voltage; conversely, it reduces the excitation current to lower the terminal voltage. This maintains the stability of the generator terminal voltage and can also adjust the reactive power output of the generator according to the needs of the power system.
