stainless steel sanitary tee is a three-way pipe fitting used in hygienic piping systems to split or combine fluid flow. It has one inlet and two outlets (or vice versa), arranged in a T-shape. Designed with a smooth, crevice-free interior, it ensures clean, efficient, and contamination-free operation, making it ideal for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries.
Working Principle
The stainless steel sanitary tee operates by dividing or combining flow in a pipeline system. It features three connection ports-one inlet and two outlets (or vice versa). Fluid enters through one port and is redirected at a 90-degree angle to the other branches. Its smooth internal surface minimizes flow resistance and prevents contamination.
