The MVME147SRF is a high-performance VMEbus single-board computer module developed by Motorola. Below are its detailed specifications:
Processor

  • Equipped with an MC68030 microprocessor paired with an MC68882 floating-point coprocessor, providing robust computational capabilities for efficiently handling complex mathematical tasks.

Memory Configuration

  • Shared DRAM: Features parity-checked shared DRAM, supporting up to 32MB of DRAM and 8MB of flash memory for storing the operating system and application programs.

  • Battery-Backed RAM: Includes 2KB of battery-backed static RAM to preserve critical configuration data and system parameters during power outages.

Interface Types

  • Communication Interfaces:

    • 1 Ethernet interface (10Base-T) for high-speed network connectivity.

    • 4 asynchronous serial ports (RS-232 compatible) for connecting to peripherals, modems, or legacy devices.

    • 1 SCSI interface (SCSI-2 compliant) for attaching external storage devices or high-speed peripherals.

    • 1 parallel port for connecting printers or other parallel devices.

  • VMEbus Interface: Supports VMEbus master operations (A32/D32 and A24/D16 compatible) with system controller functionality, enabling seamless integration with other VMEbus modules.
