I. Overview
VIBRO-METER 200-510-071-113 and 200-510-111-034 are both MPC4 series modules in the VM600 system. They are core components for condition monitoring and protection of industrial rotating machinery, playing a key role in the monitoring of large rotating equipment (such as steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, motors, etc.) in industries like power generation, petrochemicals, and metallurgy.
The 200-510-071-113 module is mainly responsible for collecting and preliminarily processing mechanical state parameters such as vibration and displacement. It can accurately capture subtle vibration, shaft displacement and other signals during equipment operation, providing raw data support for subsequent data analysis and fault diagnosis.
The 200-510-111-034 module focuses more on in-depth data analysis, logical judgment, and output of protection commands. It receives data from the acquisition module, analyzes it through built-in algorithms, and can promptly issue protection commands when it detects that equipment parameters exceed safety thresholds, preventing further damage to the equipment due to faults and ensuring the safe and stable operation of the equipment. The two modules work together to form a complete condition monitoring and protection system for rotating machinery.

Power Parameters: Both modules support 24V DC power supply, with an allowable voltage fluctuation range of 18-32V DC, which can adapt to slight fluctuations in power supply voltage in industrial sites and ensure the stable operation of the modules in unstable power supply environments. In terms of rated power consumption, 200-510-071-113 is approximately 8W, and 200-510-111-034 is approximately 10W. The low-power design reduces module heating and extends service life.
Environmental Parameters: The operating temperature range is -20°C to 70°C, allowing normal operation in various industrial environments such as cold winter workshops and hot summer workshops; the relative humidity is 5%-95% (non-condensing), which can adapt to humid environments, such as equipment rooms near sewage treatment plants; the storage temperature range is -40°C to 85°C, facilitating transportation and long-term storage of the modules.
Physical Parameters: The module size is 160mm×100mm×30mm (length×width×height). The compact structural design saves installation space in the control cabinet and facilitates integrated installation with other modules. 200-510-071-113 (Acquisition Module)
Input Channels: It has 8 analog input channels, which can simultaneously collect 8 different mechanical state signals, such as vibration acceleration, velocity, displacement, etc., meeting the requirement of simultaneous monitoring of multiple parameters.
Input Signal Types: Supports vibration signals (acceleration: 0-50g, velocity: 0-200mm/s, displacement: 0-500μm) and temperature signals (thermocouple: K type, J type; thermal resistance: PT100). The support for diverse signal types enables it to adapt to different monitoring scenarios.
Sampling Rate: The maximum sampling rate per channel can reach 10kHz, which can quickly capture transient changes of signals and ensure the integrity and accuracy of collected data.
200-510-111-034 (Analysis and Protection Module)
Output Channels: Equipped with 4 relay output channels and 2 analog output channels (4-20mA). Relay outputs can be used to drive external alarm devices, shutdown devices, etc., and analog outputs can transmit key parameters after analysis to the upper computer or recorder.
Computing Power: Built-in 32-bit high-performance processor with fast operation speed, which can perform real-time analysis on collected data, such as spectrum analysis, trend analysis, etc., with an analysis response time of less than 100ms.
Communication Interfaces: Equipped with 1 Ethernet interface (10/100Mbps) and 2 RS-485 interfaces, supporting Modbus TCP/IP and Modbus RTU communication protocols, which can interact with upper computers, PLCs and other devices to realize remote monitoring and data sharing.

III. Functional Features
(I) High-Precision Data Acquisition Capability (200-510-071-113)
This module adopts a high-precision AD converter with a conversion accuracy of 16 bits, which can accurately convert weak mechanical signals into digital signals with a collection error of less than 0.5%. In the vibration monitoring of steam turbines, even tiny vibration changes can be accurately captured, providing reliable data for judging the wear status of internal components of the steam turbine. At the same time, the module has good anti-interference ability, effectively suppressing electromagnetic interference in industrial sites through differential input design and digital filtering technology, ensuring the authenticity of collected data.
(II) Powerful Data Analysis and Diagnosis Function (200-510-111-034)
The module has built-in multiple fault diagnosis algorithms, such as bearing fault diagnosis and gear fault diagnosis, which can conduct in-depth analysis on collected data and automatically identify possible fault types and locations of equipment. For example, when monitoring the operation of a fan, if the fan bearing is worn, the module can timely judge the bearing fault by analyzing the characteristic frequency in the vibration spectrum and send out corresponding prompt information. In addition, it can generate detailed data analysis reports, including parameter trend charts, spectrum charts, etc., providing maintenance personnel with intuitive basis for fault judgment.
(III) Reliable Equipment Protection Function (200-510-111-034)
The module can monitor equipment operating parameters in real-time according to user-set safety thresholds. When parameters exceed the thresholds, it can issue protection commands in a short time (less than 50ms), drive the equipment's shutdown device or alarm device through relay output, and prevent serious damage to the equipment due to overload, overheating, severe vibration, etc. At the same time, the protection function has multi-level settings, which can issue early warning, alarm and shutdown commands according to the severity of faults, improving the flexibility and reliability of equipment protection.
(IV) Flexible System Integration Capability
Both modules support the bus protocol of the VM600 system, and can seamlessly interface with other modules in the system (such as communication modules, expansion modules, etc.) to form a complete monitoring and protection system. At the same time, they also support integration with third-party equipment. Through standard communication protocols and interfaces, they can interact with PLCs and DCS systems of different brands, facilitating integration into the enterprise's existing industrial automation network to achieve centralized monitoring and unified management.

The module is equipped with clear LED indicators, which can intuitively display the module's power status, operation status, communication status, fault status and other information, facilitating maintenance personnel to quickly judge the working condition of the module. The software has a user-friendly interface and simple operation, so even non-professionals can quickly get started.
