    The MVME6100 is a VME bus-based single-board computer introduced by Motorola (now NXP Semiconductors or Emerson). It features high performance and rich interfaces, making it suitable for various fields such as industrial automation, defense, aerospace, and more. Here are its detailed specifications:

    • Processor:
      It adopts the MPC7457 PowerPC processor with a maximum operating frequency of 1.267GHz. It also integrates a 128-bit AltiVec coprocessor, which is suitable for data-intensive applications and parallel processing.
    • Memory and Storage:
      It is equipped with up to 2GB of on-board DDR ECC memory to ensure the accuracy and stability of data storage. Additionally, it has 128MB of flash memory, and some configurations may include 512MB of SDRAM.
    • Bus Interface:
      It is the first VME bus board designed with the Tundra Tsi148 VME bus interface chip, supporting the 2-edge Source Synchronous Transfer (2eSST) VME bus protocol. This enables the VME bus to operate at an actual bandwidth of 320MB/s in most cases.



    • Communication Interfaces:
      It has dual Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and supports multiple USB interfaces, RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 serial ports, etc., facilitating data communication and connection with other devices.
    • Expansion Interfaces:
      It has two 33/66/100MHz PMC-X interfaces, allowing the addition of industry-standard application-specific modules for function expansion according to requirements.
    • Operating Temperature:
      The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C, enabling stable operation in relatively harsh environments.
    • Dimensions and Power Supply:
      It has a 6U VME form factor (approximately 9.2x3.6 inches) and is powered by a single +5V or +3.3V input. The overall dimensions are approximately 233x167mm, with a weight of about 0.7kg and a typical power consumption of 20W.
