The 3500/92 (Model 136180-01) is a power supply module in the Bently Nevada 3500 series monitoring system. It provides stable and reliable DC power to the entire 3500 rack and all internal monitoring modules (such as vibration, speed, and temperature modules), serving as the power core for the normal operation of the system. Product Overview
This module features a redundant design, supporting independent operation of a single module or parallel redundant operation of two modules, which can be flexibly configured according to the system's power consumption requirements. With its wide voltage input range and high-efficiency voltage regulation characteristics, it can adapt to complex power grid environments in industrial sites. Additionally, it is equipped with multiple protection functions such as overcurrent, overvoltage, and short-circuit protection, ensuring a continuous and stable power supply for all components of the 3500 system and guaranteeing the reliable implementation of equipment condition monitoring and protection functions.

  • Input Power:

    • Voltage Range: 100-240V AC (50/60Hz), compatible with 24-60V DC (optional);

    • Maximum Input Current: 5A (AC input), 8A (DC input).

  • Output Power:

    • Main Output: +24V DC, rated output current 10A (single module), up to 20A when two modules are connected in parallel;

    • Auxiliary Output: +5V DC (powers the internal logic circuit of the rack), rated current 2A.

  • Output Characteristics:

    • Voltage Regulation Accuracy: ±0.5% (24V output), ±1% (5V output);

    • Ripple & Noise: ≤50mV peak-to-peak (24V output), ≤20mV peak-to-peak (5V output);

    • Dynamic Response: When the load suddenly increases from 10% to 90%, the output voltage fluctuation ≤±2%, recovery time ≤100ms.

  • Protection Functions:

    • Overcurrent Protection: 24V output current limiting value 12A (single module), auto-recovery;

    • Overvoltage Protection: 24V output overvoltage threshold 28V±1V, forcibly shuts down the output (manual reset required);

    • Short-Circuit Protection: Immediately cuts off the power when the output is short-circuited, auto-recovery after the short circuit is resolved;

    • Over-Temperature Protection: Automatically derates the output when the internal module temperature exceeds 75°C, shuts down when exceeding 85°C.

  • Wide-Range Adaptability: Compatible with both AC and DC inputs, it can be directly used in industrial sites with different voltage standards globally without the need for additional power conversion equipment.

  • Intelligent Status Monitoring: Continuously monitors its own output voltage, current, and internal temperature, and uploads status information to the 3500/20 RIM module via the rack bus for remote monitoring of the power supply's health status.

  • Hot-Swap Design: Supports online replacement (hot-swap) without affecting the power supply to other modules in the rack, reducing system downtime.

  • High Efficiency & Energy Saving: Conversion efficiency ≥90% (at full load), low-power design reduces operating costs and heat dissipation requirements.
