Product Overview
As a core monitoring component of the 3500 system, this module can connect to accelerometers, velocity sensors, or displacement sensors to real-time monitor parameters such as radial vibration, axial vibration, and bearing vibration of equipment. Through built-in signal conditioning circuits and digital processing units, it converts raw vibration signals into quantifiable vibration values (e.g., peak-to-peak, RMS) and compares them with preset thresholds to trigger abnormal alarms. Its high sampling rate and wide frequency response range enable it to capture various signals from low-frequency vibrations to high-frequency impacts, making it suitable for condition monitoring of critical rotating equipment such as steam turbines, fans, and pumps.

  • Data Recording and Playback: Supports continuous recording of vibration trend data (sampling interval adjustable from 1-60 seconds) and can store vibration waveforms at the trigger moment (e.g., 1 second before to 3 seconds after exceeding the threshold) for post-analysis.

  • Synchronized Acquisition: Synchronizes with keyphasor modules (e.g., 125800-01) in the 3500 system to achieve phase correlation between vibration signals and rotational speed, supporting order analysis and shaft centerline trajectory plotting.

Installation and Wiring

  • Installation Position: As a half-height module of the 3500 system, it is installed in slots 3-14 of the full-size rack or slots 3-7 of the mini rack, requiring communication with the 3500/20 RIM module.

  • Wiring Method:

    • Sensor Input: Connect sensors via rear terminals. For differential input, distinguish between positive and negative poles, with the shield layer grounded at a single point;

    • Synchronization Signal Input: Connect synchronization pulses output by the keyphasor module for phase reference;

    • Analog Output: 4-20mA signals (corresponding to vibration values) connect to DCS or recorders, with impedance ≤500Ω.
