Product Overview

The KUC711AE is a high-performance digital input module interface adapter for ABB's AC800M series PLC, used in combination with the 3BHB004661R0001 digital input module. It is specifically designed for switching signal acquisition in harsh industrial environments.

Functional Features

High-Reliability Signal Acquisition: Paired with the 3BHB004661R0001 digital input module, its 16 input channels are all equipped with optoelectronic isolation, capable of withstanding 500V AC transient overvoltage to effectively isolate field interference sources. The anti-misplug terminal design prevents module damage caused by wiring errors.
Flexible Adaptation and Quick Deployment: Provides standardized terminal interfaces, supporting direct connection of cables below 2.5mm². Using ABB prefabricated cables can shorten wiring time by 50%. It supports NPN/PNP input modes and is compatible with third-party sensors from Siemens, Schneider, etc.
Intelligent Diagnosis and Safety Design: The module has a built-in real-time fault monitoring function, intuitively feedbacking channel status through LED indicators. Detailed diagnostic codes can be read with Control Builder M software. For safety-critical applications, it can (interlock) with ABB SafeMove modules to achieve SIL3-level safety logic control.
