Working Principle
The drive receives motion commands such as position, speed, or torque commands sent by the upper computer through the communication interface. The internal digital signal processor (DSP) and advanced control algorithms process the commands. Based on the three-closed-loop control architecture (position loop, speed loop, current loop), the commands are converted into corresponding control signals, and precise current is output to the servo motor by controlling power modules (such as IGBTs) to drive the motor. At the same time, the encoder equipped on the motor transmits feedback information such as the position and speed of the motor to the drive in real time. The drive compares the feedback information with the commands and continuously adjusts the output to achieve high-precision position control, speed control, or torque control.

Common Faults and Solutions
  • Alarm F19 (Single-phase Main Power Supply is Too Weak): Try turning off the power and switching to 2-phase power supply.

  • Power Failure: If caused by power voltage fluctuations or instability, ensure the power supply is stable and reliable, and stabilizers and other equipment can be used; if it is a power overload, check the load situation to ensure it does not exceed the rated load capacity of the drive and power supply; if the power cord is poorly connected, check the power cord connection to ensure the plug and socket are firm without looseness or disconnection.

  • Communication Failure: If there is disconnection, short circuit, or poor contact in the communication line, check the communication line, repair the disconnection, eliminate the short circuit, and ensure good interface connection.

  • Overvoltage Abnormality: It may be a power problem or a failure of the computer board or servo drive. First, check whether the power voltage is too high. If the power supply is normal, check the computer board or servo drive and repair or replace them if necessary.
