The addition of copper improves resistance to sulfuric acid and mixed acid systems, where traditional nickel alloys may struggle.
Pitting and Crevice Corrosion Resistance:
Highly resistant to localized corrosion such as pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking (SCC), especially in chloride-rich environments.
High Thermal Stability:
Maintains mechanical strength and corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures, suitable for heat exchangers and reactors.
