Peptide Antibiotic Purification Resin
A polypeptide antibiotic refers to a class of antibiotics having the structural characteristics of a polypeptide. These include polymyxins (polymyxin B, polymyxin E), bacitracin (bacillus, gramicidin), oxymycin, and vancomycin. Polypeptide antibiotics have a narrow antibacterial spectrum and have a unique antibacterial effect, and bacteria are generally less susceptible to drug resistance. Purification of peptide antibiotics is of great significance for its clinical application.
