"Ultra thin wall panel radiator" is a type of water heating, with an internal structure that is almost the same as traditional column type radiators, but it is made very thin and installed tightly against the wall. It looks like a wall or wall decoration panel, but behind the beautiful panel, there are hidden heat dissipation fins and heating water channels. The heat dissipation panel, fins and water channels are formed by aluminum alloy extrusion. When heating, hot water flows through the water channel, and heat is transferred to the fins through the water channel wall, and then to the front heat dissipation panel, which radiates heat to the interior, thereby heating the indoor space.

The structure of ultra-thin wall panel radiators

The structure of ultra-thin wall panel radiators, like traditional wall mounted radiators, is also composed of upper and lower main pipes, heat dissipation branches, hangers, and upper and lower decorative covers.

The difference is that traditional radiators are thicker, usually 6-10cm thick, and installed at a certain distance from the back to the wall (usually not less than 5cm), so they protrude more from the wall. The distance from the front heat dissipation panel to the wall is generally between 12-15cm, and there are certain gaps between each heat dissipation fin. The upper and lower main pipes and the heat dissipation fin branch pipes are welded together before leaving the factory, and the number of fins cannot be increased or reduced after forming.

However, ultra-thin wall panel radiators are thinner and installed tightly against the wall without leaving any gaps between them. The distance between the front heat dissipation panel and the wall is only 3cm, with less protrusion from the wall; It can be assembled on-site at any height and width as needed; When assembling, each heat sink is inserted into a U-shaped groove on the side of the other heat sink, overlapped and assembled together without any gaps. The upper and lower decorative covers are a whole, and the entire set of radiators looks like wall decorative panels. Each heat sink is connected to the upper and lower main pipes through copper joints, which are detachable.

Material and service life of ultra-thin wall panel radiators

The heat dissipation fins, upper and lower main pipes, and decorative covers of ultra-thin wall panel radiators are all made of 6063-T5 aluminum alloy. Aluminum has a heat conduction speed five times that of steel, so ultra-thin wall panel radiators dissipate heat very quickly and heat up quickly.

In order to meet the long-term service life while providing efficient heating, "Heng Er Nuan" ultra-thin wall panel radiators are considered from the following four aspects to ensure greater corrosion resistance and longer service life than traditional radiators:

1Increase the wall thickness of the water channel, with the main water channel wall thickness reaching 3.1-7mm and the heat sink water channel wall thickness reaching 2.5mm, which is about twice the wall thickness of the general steel plate radiator water channel;

2There is no welding process used between the heat dissipation pipe and the main pipe, and a flexible copper joint is used for connection. It is made of corrosion-resistant HPB58-3 brass, which avoids the occurrence of water leakage at the welding point of traditional radiators;

3The inner sealing ring of the copper union is made of purple copper material instead of rubber material, which is the same as the material of the copper union body and has the same expansion coefficient, to avoid water leakage due to different materials and expansion coefficients during thermal expansion and contraction;

4The threaded connection between the copper union and the heat sink and the main pipe is sealed with high-quality detachable anaerobic adhesive, which will not age or leak water after long-term use after curing.

All the above designs are based on the concept of having the same lifespan as the building. Therefore, ultra-thin wall panel radiators can be installed in independent heating systems for households and centralized heating systems with water quality that meets the requirements of aluminum radiators. They can be used for a long time with peace of mind, without the need for special maintenance or replacement of components, and can almost have the same lifespan as the building.

The heating principle of ultra-thin wall panel radiators

Ultra thin wall panel radiators, like traditional radiators, are also used for water heating. During heating, hot water is transported through the heating system pipes to the main pipe, and then diverted to each radiator branch pipe, flowing downwards and collecting in the main pipe below. Then, the ultra-thin wall panel radiators flow out to the return pipe of the heating system, repeating the cycle. When hot water flows through the interior of the ultra-thin wall panel radiators, heat is transferred to the fins through the water channel walls, and then transferred to the front panel, and then dissipated indoors in the form of thermal radiation, heating the indoor space.

For the sake of aesthetics, ultra-thin wall panel radiators do not leave convection holes on the upper and lower decorative covers. They mainly rely on radiation heat dissipation, which heats up faster than traditional radiators and does not darken the wall due to convection.

Ultra thin wall panel radiators can be used in homes, office buildings, kindergartens, schools, hotels, and any other places that require heating, especially in places that require rapid heating, good heating effects, aesthetics, and no safety hazards, such as families and kindergartens that are afraid of traditional radiators hitting children with sharp edges.

The functions of ultra-thin wall panel radiators

Ultra thin wall panel radiators have three major functions: heating, decoration, and wall protection, integrating heating, decoration, and wall protection into one.

Function 1: Heating. Ultra thin wall panel radiators are a new type of heating method that quickly heats up, saves energy, and is environmentally friendly. They almost eliminate all the shortcomings of traditional radiators and are an ideal heating method;

Function 2: Decoration, ultra-thin wall panel radiators are designed to be very thin, integrating heating into decoration, combining heating and decoration. If the color chosen is the same white as the wall, the appearance will look like the wall. If the color chosen is the same as the floor or furniture color, the appearance will look like a decorative wall panel, which has a good decorative effect while heating, solving the pain point of the contradiction between traditional radiator heating and decoration;

Its aluminum alloy material outer surface is treated with spray molding, which is not easily affected by moisture and deformation. It is also very clean and hygienic. If the outer surface is dirty, it can be wiped with a damp cloth.

Installation method of ultra-thin wall panel radiators

The installation method of ultra-thin wall panel radiators is the same as traditional radiators. Generally, unfinished houses adopt an octopus style concealed installation system, with heating pipes embedded under the floor. Renovated houses adopt a double pipe parallel heating system, with heating pipes arranged on the wall. Therefore, as long as traditional radiators are installed, ultra-thin wall panel radiators will be installed.
