Application
Loop tack test is applicable to those adhesives that form a bond of measurable strength rapidly upon contact with another surface. Tack force is the force measured as the force required to separate the adhesive from the adherend at the interface shortly after they have been brought into contact under a load equal only to the weight of the pressure-sensitive article (for example, tape, label, sticker, etc.) on a 1 in.2 contact area.sealing process by controlling these parameters.
LTT-01 Loop Tack Tester is designed to measure the sticking force, adhesiveness, and tack of adhesives, tapes, and labels. It complies with renowned test methods such as FINAT Test Method No. 9, PSTC-16 Loop Tack, and ASTM D6195.
The LTT-01 loop tack tester is indispensable in various industries where adhesive performance is critical.
Test Principle
A strip sample, 25mm wide and 175mm long, is formed into a loop and brought into contact with a glass plate at a controlled speed of 300mm/min. Immediately after contact, the loop is withdrawn at the same speed, and the maximum force required to separate the loop from the glass plate is recorded, defining the loop tack.
