Hydraulic power pliers are mechanical tools that use the power of the workover machine to operate and remove threads, which can greatly reduce the labor intensity of workover workers and avoid or reduce the occurrence of injury accidents. At the same time, hydraulic power pliers enhance the torque of pipe fittings and drilling tool threads, reducing the occurrence of pipe fittings and drilling tool detachment accidents.
The working principle of hydraulic power tongs is to transmit the power of the workover rig to the hydraulic motor of the hydraulic power tongs, which undergoes two-stage or one-stage reduction through the stroke reducer, causing the opening gear of the tong head to rotate, producing high and low speeds, thereby driving the rotation of the pipe (drilling tool). When the opening gear rotates, the plate frame does not rotate under the braking action of the brake hammer, causing relative motion between the opening gear and the palate plate frame. In this way, the two rollers of the palate plate will climb on the slope plate, forcing the clamp teeth on the crotch plate to move towards the center of the pipe (drilling tool) until they bite the pipe (drilling tool), and then drive the pipe (drilling tool) to rotate together with the opening gear.
