HGFQ Float level meter and switch is suitable for liquid level measurement and control in all kinds of industrial automation process control. It has been widely used in the liquid level measurement, control and monitor of the industry areas like oil processing, food processing, chemical engineering, water treatment, pharmacy, electric power, papermaking, metallurgy, ship industry and boiler industry.
Principle
The structure of float level switch is mainly based on buoyancy and magnetostatic field theory. The position of floating ball in the medium tested with magnet is affected by buoyancy: the change of liquid level lead to the change of position of magnetic float. Magnet and sensor (magnetic reed switch) in the floating ball interacted, and then produced switching signal. The principle of floating ball level switch is similar to floating ball level meter, but the electrical signal output from floating ball level meter is quasi-continuous, and the signal output from floating ball level switch is discrete switch signal.
