Potassium stearate is a surfactant; Fiber softener. As an anionic surfactant, it is widely used in the combined curing system of acrylic rubber soap/sulfur. Commonly referred to as potash soap or soft soap, it is mainly used in creams and shampoos as emulsifiers and detergents. It has a high emulsification efficiency, but it is sensitive to hard water, and can form calcium soap with hard water, so that the emulsion is deformed or destroyed, and it is a calcium-sensitive emulsifier, so it should be paid attention to in the production process of cosmetics.
