FREE-VALVE Brand plastic swing check valves are swing type and have a flat disc that swings about a hinge pin or shaft, installed in the piping system, their main function is to prevent medium from flowing backwards, the valves are normally designed for horizontal flow condition, but can also be installed in vertical pipeline, but in vertical pipeline, the flow should be in upwards direction and under the disc.
Features
1. The eccentric mounted hinge pin in combination with the disc seat guarantees a positive shut off of the returning medium.
2. The sealing surface of disc is ground and lapped for better finish and sealing
3. Bolt bonnet provides easy access to the disc and hinge pin without removing the valve from the pipeline in case of maintenance.
4. Disc nut secures the disc to the hinge and allows the disc to rotate about pin axis and assist in tight shut off.
5.Plastic material suitable for any corrosive medium
