Outline
The tote tank/intermediate bulk container (IBC) is a kind of chemical container which has very small opening. Because the opening is rather small, the length of ordinary stirring paddle exceeds the opening diameter of ton tank, which makes it unable to work into ton tank. In this case, we can only use folding impellers. However, the existing folding impellers on the market are mostly a kind of ordinary paddles, which have poor energy-saving performance, and few of the axial-flow energy-saving paddles can be folded. Our product (ASDZ hydraulic-lifted chemical tote tank/IBC mixer & agitator with folding impeller) is a special mixer for chemical tote tank/intermediate bulk container(IBC) developed for this situation, which can not only be operated easily and improved efficiency, but also save a great deal of energy.
Working Principle
1. Each blade is equipped with a rotating mechanism around the shaft. When the mixing stops, each blade falls down by its own gravity, in a vertical state. The range occupied by the four blades in the vertical state is less than 130mm in the outer diameter. At this time, the shaft with blades around itself can smoothly extend into the small entrance of the tote tank/intermediate bulk container (IBC) with the diameter of 150 mm;
2. When the mixing starts, the shaft and blades get to run. Each blade is stretched out in a horizontal state due to the centrifugal force, playing a role in promoting the rapid flow of fluid.
3. After the folded agitator blades are extended, each blade forms an angle with the vertical plane. The blades are energy-saving blades with a slightly twisted curved shape. When the folding impeller operates and the blades push the fluid flow, they have very efficient driving force and driving effect. Because of the shape characteristics of the energy-saving blade, it is very in line with the surface shape of the minimum resistance in the hydrodynamics, so as to save energy and reduce the loss.
