For example, in modern new energy vehicles, when the transmission system needs to change the direction of output torque, a second motor needs to intervene, Our designers have already solved this problem by utilizing motor drivers, which not only increases the functionality of the motor, but also reduces the cost of the product. The size of the product can also be made smaller.
The positive and negative rotation of the motor means both clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. If there are no special requirements, the motor should be manufactured by rotating clockwise from the extended end of the shaft. When the motor rotates clockwise, it is customary to say that the motor rotates in the forward direction, while when the motor rotates counterclockwise, it means that the motor rotates in the opposite direction.
For three-phase motors, to achieve positive and negative rotation of the motor, simply connect any two phases in the three-phase power supply line of the motor. The forward and reverse rotation of motors is widely used, such as electric planers, table drills, wire cutting machines, dryers, and travel and woodworking lathes. The switching between forward and reverse rotation of small motors is generally controlled by a reverse switch, but the steering switch of large motors requires specific control circuit support.
However, it should be noted that not all motors can rotate in both forward and reverse directions. For motors equipped with directional fans, they can only rotate according to the direction determined during the manufacturing process.
