The Dutch tecnotation QTR 160 series is the largest diameter series among QTR motors. The smallest model has a height of only 17 mm and a continuous torque of 4.1 Nm, while the largest model can achieve an excellent peak torque of 58.3 Nm.
The power and size of the Dutch tecnotation QTR 160 series motor enable it to replace large factory machinery. They are the best choice when fully implementing factory automation.
The positive and negative rotation of the motor means both clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. If there are no special requirements, the motor should be manufactured by rotating clockwise from the extended end of the shaft. When the motor rotates clockwise, it is customary to say that the motor rotates in the forward direction, while when the motor rotates counterclockwise, it means that the motor rotates in the opposite direction.
For three-phase motors, to achieve positive and negative rotation of the motor, simply connect any two phases in the three-phase power supply line of the motor. The forward and reverse rotation of motors is widely used, such as electric planers, table drills, wire cutting machines, dryers, and travel and woodworking lathes. The switching between forward and reverse rotation of small motors is generally controlled by a reverse switch, but the steering switch of large motors requires specific control circuit support.
However, it should be noted that not all motors can rotate in both forward and reverse directions. For motors equipped with directional fans, they can only rotate according to the direction determined during the manufacturing process.
