Installing the Brake
a. Remove the rear brake caliper guard (piece 1), connect the hydraulic station piping to the brake cylinder, open the hydraulic station to open the brake, screw the release bolts on both sides of the brake caliper into the piston (piece 15 in Fig. 1), so as to keep the brake in an open state, and then disconnect the coupling piping (usually the release bolts have been screwed into the piston when it is shipped from the factory);
b. Lift the brake assembly onto the mounting base as shown in 2.1, screw on the ground bolts, and loosely set the nuts and washers;
c. Adjust the position of the brake bracket so that it is centred and parallel to the brake disc, and the edge of the brake liner is indented by 3-5mm compared with the outer diameter of the brake disc (see Fig. 1), and the relevant tolerance requirements are shown in Fig. 3 (the brake liner can be rotated by a certain angle, and should be adjusted so that the edge of the brake liner is parallel to the outer diameter of the brake disc);
d. Tighten the ground bolt to the spring washer until it is flat, connected to the hydraulic line, open the hydraulic station into the hydraulic oil, remove the release bolt and properly stored for future use;
Note: The release bolt must be removed during normal operation!
