Disc brakes can be divided into three categories: b, c, and d. Category b has a brake assist device installed on the brake, which is conducive to safe use, but the system requires a larger cost.

Installation

3.2.1 Mounting the Brake on a Bracket

If the user orders with mounting bracket and fastening bolts, the bracket and brake caliper will be mounted and supplied together before delivery, so this work can be omitted.

a. Remove oil and dust from the mating surfaces of the caliper and mounting bracket, and lift the caliper onto the bracket with a crane. Note: The side with the exhaust fitting (piece 8 in Fig. 1) must be facing upwards;

b. Fasten the brake caliper with 8 high-strength bolts, the strength of the nut must be more than 12.9 grade, with nylon locking inserts, flat pads for the

45 steel tempered HRC35～45;

c. The bolts must be tightened using a torque plate hand, tightening torque as shown in Table 1.

3.2.2 Hydraulic connection and brake cylinder venting

a. Before installing the brake, the hydraulic station should be installed and debugged (please refer to the instruction manual of the hydraulic station for the installation and debugging of the hydraulic station), and the hydraulic pipeline should be well lined up, the thread of the brake cylinder oil inlet connector should be M18X1.5, and the diameter of the hydraulic pipeline should be more than 10mm, and the total oil inlet required when the brake is backed up by 2mm should be shown in Table 1;

It must be ensured that the length of the pipeline from all brake cylinders to the hydraulic station is equal!

Before using and adjusting the brake, the brake cylinder should be ventilated as follows: there is a dual-purpose connector for pressure measurement and venting (Piece 8 in Fig. 1) at the high place (top) of the brake cylinder, with thread specification M16. When measuring pressure, remove the protective cap and connect the pressure measurement component; when venting, take down the anti-fall ring on the protective cap and then tighten the protective cap as shown in Fig. 4, and then return to the original state after venting.
