TRICON 8105N Invensys helps collect information from processor nodes on the system

Level 0: It includes on-site equipment such as temperature sensors, flow, and final control components such as control valves.

TRICON 8105N Level 1: It consists of industrial input/output (I/O) modules and related distributed electronic processors.

Level 2: It is included in the management computer to help collect information from processor nodes on the system and provide operator control screens.

Level 3: It is the production control layer that does not directly control the process, but is related to monitoring production and monitoring objectives.

Level 4: This is the production scheduling level

On the other hand, levels 1 and 2 are the functional levels of traditional DCS, where all equipment is part of an integrated system from the same manufacturer.

The third and fourth levels of TRICON 8105N are not traditional strict process control, but rather the place where production control and scheduling occur.
