The L6206 device is a DMOS dual full bridge designed for motor control applications, implemented using BCD technology, combining isolated DMOS power transistors with CMOS and bipolar circuits on the same chip. The L6206 device can be used in the PowerDIP24 (20+2+2), PowerSO36, and SO24 (20+2+2) software packages, characterized by thermal shutdown and non dissipative overcurrent detection on high side power MOSFETs, as well as diagnostic outputs, making it easy to implement overcurrent protection.
