Product Description
The self-locking principle of hydraulic control wedge surface is used to lock the ram. The oil circuits of the automatic locking mechanism are all hidden in the main body, and no separate external oil circuit is required. The closing and locking of the BOP ram are the same oil circuit, and the unlocking and opening of the ram are the same oil circuit, so that the closing and locking of the ram or the unlocking and opening of the ram can be completed at one time to improve the convenience of the operation. The hydraulic locking BOP is highly automatic and reliable.
A hydraulic BOP (Blowout Preventer) is a large, heavy-duty piece of equipment used in the drilling of oil and gas wells to control and prevent the release of high-pressure fluids, such as oil and natural gas, from the wellbore. It functions as a safety valve, sealing the wellbore in case of a blowout (uncontrolled release of fluid) during drilling operations. Hydraulic BOPs are typically mounted on the top of the wellhead and consist of multiple cylindrical ram assemblies that can be closed to form a seal around the drill pipe. The rams are operated by hydraulic fluid pressure, which is provided by an external power source.
