1. The charging and discharging ports are different, and the discharge port has the function of stabilizing voltage

The charging port of SAPHIR | EV series lithium battery is isolated from the discharge port, which has the real function of charging and discharging. The charging voltage of the 24V lithium iron battery during normal charging should be 29.2V. Lower than this charging voltage will reduce the charging efficiency and prolong the charging time. No matter how high the charging voltage applied to the charging port of the SAPHIR lithium battery, the output voltage of the discharge port of the EV48-100 (example) battery is limited to no more than 54.2V. This function prevents the higher charging voltage of the charger from being directly applied to the load DC motor and damaging the motor.

2. Accurate display output of battery remaining power

The discharge voltage of SAPHIR | EV series lithium battery is relatively stable within the range of effective power, which is the advantage of lithium iron battery. However, it is very inaccurate to use the method of collecting battery voltage to calculate the remaining power of the battery.

SAPHIR | EV series lithium batteries use the software "coulomb integral" method to accurately calculate the remaining power of the battery, and use 0~5VDC analog voltage output, which linearly corresponds to 0%~100% of the remaining power of the battery, which facilitates the upper computer's requirements for the value of battery power.
