Ball bearing, case, closed on 2 sides. Fastened to the shaft with the tensioning bolts on the inner ring. Bearing type UC is an insert bearing that is used for installation in all types of insert bearing units. The bearing has a spherical outer race and the housing has a spherical bore. This design allows the bearing to move slightly in the housing, thereby compensating for shaft misalignment or inaccurate mounting. The bearing is fastened to the shaft using locking screws. In addition, such a bearing has special holes for relubrication. Bearings of the UC design are mainly used as support for stub shafts, and also for installations where only slight linear thermal expansion is possible. The axial bearing clearances compensate for small shaft extensions. Bearings of the UC design are used for normal loads, low to medium rotational speeds.
Bearings of the UC type are also called radial bearings. They are used in various bearing assemblies.
The design of the bearing assembly is directly the housing itself, the bearing, the sealing system and the lubrication system. Most often, the body is made of cast iron, less often - from stainless steel or high-strength polymers. Also, the body can be one-piece or multi-piece. The device for lubrication in housing bearings is in the form of a special oiler. The seal protects the bearing from the ingress of various contaminants or moisture, and also prevents grease from leaking out.
Insert bearing UC204 - ball, sealed, self-aligning, with an extended inner ring. The lubricant has been added in advance, but it is possible to add it additionally through a special oil can (located on the housing where it is mounted). The shaft is secured with two set screws. Installed in cast iron housings P204 (on feet), F204 (flanged) and some others (including stainless steel and aluminum), forming UCP204, UCF204 and others
