The Mitsubishi MR-J4-100A (MRJ4100A) is a 200V servo amplifier from the Melservo MR-J4 series that produces 1kW. The servo amplifier input has a 3-phase voltage of 200 to 240VAC with the permissible voltage flux between 170 to 264VAC. The input frequency is 50/60Hz and a current of 5.0A. The output of the MR-J4-100A has a voltage of 170V and a frequency between 0-360Hz while the output current is 6.0A. The MR-J4-100A amplifier itself weighs 3.1 pound (1.4kg).

The protective structure of the MR-J4-100A servo amplifier has an IP rating of IP20. This rating gives it a protection against finger contact or the contact with other foreign objects. The MR-J3-100A amplifier should abode in a room that retains the ambient temperature between 32 and 131°F (0 to 55°C), in storage, it can remain in temperatures between -4 and 149°F (-20 to 65°C) to keep the proper operations.

The MR-J4-100A servo amplifier has can be utilized as an amplifier for three rotary servo motors from the HG series; and it may be employed for the TM-RFM018E20 direct drive motor from the TM-RFM series. The servo motor itself can be concatenated to the amplifier by an encoder cable to the CN2 port and a servo motor power to the U, V, and W terminals.

The MR-J4-100A servo amplifier can be linked to a GOT series operator interface by a RS-422/RS-485 cable to the CN3 port. Additionally, a USB communication connector (MR-J3USBCBL3M) can connect a personal computer to the CN5 utilizing the MR configurator.

With a capacity range of 50W to 7kW (200V only), both the amplifier and motor size is reduced. We added a high resolution encoder of 4 million pulse/rev, with a speed frequency response of 2500Hz. Additional fetures include advanced one-touch auto tuning and advanced vibration suppression control II functions. The MR-J4 motors ahve the same flance size as J3 notors with the lenght of the motor bing the same or smaller than the J3. The same cables for power, encoder and brake can be used for the MR-J3 and MR-J4. MR-J4 Series has four models: MR-J4A (analog/pulse train), MR-J4B, (SSCNET III/H), MR-J4W2B (Dual axis amplifier with SSCNET III/H) and ME-J4W3B (Three axis in one amplifier with SSCNET III/H). In addition, MR-J4 has three motor models available: HG-KR similar to HF-KP, HG-MR similar to HF-MP, and HG-SR similar to HF-SP Series. M-Size software is used to size HG Series motors and setup is made easy using MR-Configurator.
