About Andalusite powder: Andalusite andalusite belongs to the rhombic crystal system.The crystal extends along the C axis in a rhombic column. Andalusite is anhydrous silicate and belongs to the lanite family. It is a kind of high quality refractory material, with excellent chemical stability, slag resistance, high temperature creep resistance, thermal shock resistance. When andalusite is heated to 1300℃,it turns into mullite, is a senior refractory, which usage is the same as kyanite.

It is used as high-grade refractory material in smelting industry and raw material in technical ceramic industry. Can also smelt high strength light silicon aluminum alloy, the production of metal fiber and supersonic aircraft and spacecraft oriented use.
Andalusite calcined into profiles, can be used for hot stove, hot air tower, reheating and other key parts. It can also be used for all kinds of auxiliary pouring and operation equipment, and can also make kiln facilities, high temperature aluminum silicate insulation, sand mold fabric. Using refractory fiber made of andalusite as lining can save energy by 30 ~ 50% compared with refractory soil or light brick lining. Using andalusite firebrick can not only reduce fuel consumption and increase stability, but also save more than 40% of the consumption of general refractory materials.
