Product Description

LAB1ST Supercritical CO2 Extraction Machine

The Supercritical CO2 extraction process creates phase changes in carbon dioxide utilizing temperature and pressure. CO2 is known as a “tunable solvent” making it extremely versatile for creating a multitude of end products by controlling temperature and pressure. These phase changes create an environment to drop out differing weights of components in the plant material.

The unique design of LAB1ST SFE Series systems allow for separation and collection of these constituents during a single
extraction. This enables collection of light essential oils separately from other desirable constituents and heavier lipids.
Supercritical CO2 fluid extraction methodology delivers a clean, unaltered, consistent-yet-flexible product.

FAQ

1. Why should I choose Lab1st equipment?

Lab1st supercritical CO2 extractors are highly efficient and increase overall extraction yield.Lab1st is ready to help you achieve your goal of getting higher throughout with lower operating cost.

2. How does supercritical co2 extraction work?

In the supercritical state, the solute has a high solubility to extract specific components from a solution or solid,to achieve
the extraction and separation process.

3. Can the CO2 be reused?

YES. CO2 can be used in circulation.

4. Is CO2 cheaper than ethanol?

Yes.CO2 is 4 cents pound compared to ethanol which is greater than &4 per pound.

5. Does co2 extraction remove terpenes?

CO2 extraction is good for preserving terpenes because it is a cold separation process that can protect delicate plant
compounds. Some methods may also use ethanol to help remove terpenes before fully extracting cannabis buds.

6. Is it possible to make a solventless extract with CO2?

It is absolutely possible to make a solventless extract with CO2. Solventless extracts are typically made with subcritical CO2 extraction methods.

7. When producing CBD from hemp, which part of the plant is typically used?
