Product Description
The Super Critical fluid technology is a new-type separation technology in modern chemical separation. TheSuper Critical extraction takesCO2 as the solvent. AsCO2 fluid under Super Critical state has larger density anddielectric constant, larger dissolvability against substances, which can change abruptly when pressure and temperaturechange therefore it has not only the selection of dissolvability against some substances, the separation of the solventwith the extracted substances is also easily.

The Super CriticalCO2 extraction is specially suitable for extraction offat-soluble and heat sensitive substances with high boiling point, and is suitable for fine separation of differentcomponents, i.e. Super Critical fine distillation.

Take CO2 as the solvent to make extraction and purification upon a lot of products such as biological productsfoodstuff and medicines.

Working Principle

The Supercritical CO2 Oil Extraction Machine/Equipment is suitable for producing pharmaceutical and various essential oil and hemp oil extraction , herbal and plant oil extraction. It is widely used to produce the garlic oil, essential oil, rose oil, caffeine, fructus hippophae etc.

1. What is supercritical Co2 fluid:
Supercritical Co2 is a fluid state, which occurs at or above its critical temperature 31.1 C and critical pressure 7.38 0 bar.
2. Characteristics’ of Supercritical Co2 Fluid:
a. Density under gas and liquid phase, close to liquid, or namely as dense gas, dissolve ability close to liquid.
b. Viscosity between gas and liquid phase, close to gas.
c. Diffusion coefficient between gas and liquid, much bigger than liquid phase, strong penetrability.
