ASTMD1384 Corrosion Test for Engine Coolants Tester Corrosivity Equipment Corrodibility Analyzer Corrosion Resistance Instrument
Introduction
The main principle of the instrument: six typical metals used in engine cooling systems are processed into test pieces, weighed and connected into a test piece bundle, and then completely immersed in the specified test piece. At the end of the test, the test piece was taken out, cleaned and weighed again, and the corrosion was evaluated by the corrected mass change value of the test piece before and after the test. The instrument is suitable for high boiling point and engine coolants and their concentrates, and also for engine cooling system rust inhibitors.
