Product Description
Stainless steel cathode is widely used in Copper EW/ER industry. Copper can be easily deposit on the stainless steel cathode surface and be stripped by auto-stripping machine. It is indispensable units in large scale and modernization Copper electro refining and Copper electro-winning plant.
Stainless steel cathode main include blank, hanger bar, edge strip, their features is shown as below:

Blank
| 10~15 years service lifetime. Made up of cold-rolled LDX2101 or 316L, 2B plain sheet. passive film surface polishing treatment, which makes the cathode more durable. Patented welding technology (Double-side full laser welding) is used to connect stainless steel blank and hanger bar. |
Hanger bar
| High strength and anti-corrosion hanger bar. More electrical conductive area, less electricity lost. High mechanical strength and High heat resistance to avoid deformation. Three forms can be chosen: Stainless steel cladding around copper bar(Cu-SS) Copper electro-plating stainless steel bar(SS-Cu) Triple layer (CS-Cu-SS) |
Edge strip
| Advanced edge strip with round bar for fastening. Made of PP by mechanical process or extrusion. Edge strip is stick to blank with adhesives and PP rod. Oil- resistant, corrosion-resistant as modified by adding internal adhesives, corrosion inhibitors. |
