The 10/100 Mbps adaptive fast Ethernet fiber transceiver (also called photoelectric medium converter), built-in eight ports 10M/100Mbps adaptive switch, can convert eight independent 10 Base-T and 100 Base-TX twisted pair electrical signals to 100 optical signals. which extends the network transmission distance from the limit of 100 m of copper wire to 20 Km( single mode full duplex mode). Support two different network connection media types :10/100 Base-TX and 100 Base-FX, to realize data transmission between two network connection media by using switching technology and storage and forwarding technology. Support double fiber single mode and single fiber single mode multi-fiber transmission.
