Tubular Falling Film Evaporator
Falling film evaporator, is operated continuously under vacuum and low temperature condition, with features of high evaporation capacity, low energy consumption, low operating cost and could keep the original color, flavor and active ingredient maximize.
Application Scope
Falling film evaporator has been widely used for water or organic solution in pharmaceutical, food process, chemical industry, light industry and etc, and the waste water treatment of above industries as well, and is is especially for thermosensitive material. The falling film evaporator is able to run continuously under vacuum and lower temperature condition, has advantages of higher evaporation capacity, lower energy consumption, cost saving and ensure the material constant during evaporation.
Main Principle
The material is fed from the top of the heating chamber of the evaporator, the material is distributed in to each heat exchange tube uniformly by a film distributor, and flows from top to bottom downwards in film state. During flow process, the material is heated and vaporized by the heat medium in the shell pass. And then the material in both vapor phase and liquor phase enter the separation chamber, and is vapor-liquor separated inside. The vapor phase is discharged from the top of the separation chamber and flows into a condenser to be cooled down or into the next effect as the heating medium, while the liquor phase is being discharged from the bottom of the separation chamber.

>>> High heat transfer efficiency: the feed material is uniformly heated with heating medium while accelerated flowing.
>>> The feed liquid is evaporated while accelerated flowing downward along the pipe wall, that is suitable for material of higher viscosity;
>>> The whole system is under vacuum condition during operaiton, which meet the sanitary requirement and environmental protection requirement. Meanwhile, the evaporation temperature can be significantly reduced, is very suitable for concentration of thermosentive materail;
>>> If there is a thermal vapor recompressor equipped, one partI of secondary steam could be resucted and mixed with the live steam, the live steam consumption could be reduced.
>>> Complete with a built-in CIP system, is able to clean the equipment on site, convenient in operation and maintanance.
>>> Continuous and automatic operation, with continuous charging and discharging of material.
