Exhaust Air Release Pressure Vent Valve
FREE-VALVE’s CARX-type composite air-exhaust valve body is barrel-shaped, and includes floats, stems and disc. The valves are used at the highest point on the pipe or where there is a closed gas and at the pump outlet for removing gas from the pipe, so that the pipe is working properly. If the air-exhaust valve is not installed, the pipeline at any time gas resistance, so that the pipeline water capacity can not meet the design requirements. When negative pressure is generated in the pipeline, the valve is quickly drawn into the outside air to prevent damage to the pipeline due to negative pressure.
Working principle
The composite air-exhaust valve is provided with two holes, one big and the other small, the big hole and the diameter is basically equal, The pipeline will have a lot of gas discharged to the outside when the water is supplied in the first time, these gases are discharged from the big hole.When the air is exhausted, the float ball is floated in the valve when there is water in the body cavity, the drive plug disc to the closed position, the large hole to stop a large amount of exhaust.When the water is normally transported in the pipe, if there is a small amount of air gathered in the valve to a considerable extent, the water level in the valve drops, the floating ball drops, and the air is discharged from the small hole.When negative pressure is generated in the pipe, the plug disc is opened and air is drawn in to ensure the safety of the pipeline.
Application
Air-exhaust valve is mainly installed at the outlet of the water pump, the check valve in the front section of the horizontal pipe, the main role is to exhaust when the pump starts, to inhale when pump stops.In long distance pipelines, air-exhaust valves should be installed on horizontal pipelines at intervals of 0.4 to 0.8 km.Air-exhaust valve should be installed at the highest point of the horizontal pipe and the top of the vertical pipe.
