Application:
RHH/RHW-2/USE-2 cable is suitable for various commercial and industrial applications. These cables can be installed in wet or dry locations, indoors or outdoors, in raceways, underground ducts (ask about our pre-installed cable-in-conduit products), aerial or direct buried.
RHH/RHW-2/USE-2 cable is NEC-compliant for continuous operations at 90°C in wet and dry locations, 130° C for emergency overload conditions and 250°C for short circuit conditions.
Voltage rating for RHH or RHW-2 or USE-2 conductors is 600V.
Construction:
RHH or RHW-2 or USE-2 aluminum conductors are AA-8000 series Aluminum Alloy, compact stranded. Insulation is an abrasion, moisture, heat, and sunlight resistant black cross-linked polyethylene (XLP).
The insulation is suitable for use in wet or dry locations at a conductor temperature not exceeding 90° C for normal operation.
Specification:
Cable shall be UL-listed Type RHH or RHW-2 or USE-2,suitable for operation at 600 V or less in wet or dry locations,including direct burial in the earth.
Standard:
RHH or RHW-2 or USE-2 cable meet or exceed UL Standard 44 (for RHH or RHW-2), UL Standard 854(for USE-2), Federal Specification A-A-59544, and requirements of the NEC(National Electric Code).
Assembly:
Single conductor cables can be paralleled or multiplexed for more efficient installations. Single conductor cables can also be pre-installed in conduit.
