Spring lock air release pneumatic brake HABB
Handong made HABB safe brake can well replace Asahi BSE model spring applied air release brake well. HABB safe brake is spring applied air release brake, that it to say, this brake is locked via springs as usually, after supplying air source, this HABB safe pneumatic friction brake will be released. It is widely applied in automatic production line for locking, normal locking is good for some part stop for maintenance or fixing.
HABB safe pneumatic friction brake is suitable for preventing accident and emergency braking. This pneumatic friction brake is extensive applied in industry automatic machine, tire forming machine, pulverizing machinery, NC drilling machine, lumber machine, printing machine, packaging machine, general industrial machinery, labor-saving machinery and other transmission machines.
As usually, there are four pieces of gasket installed between HABB normal locked brake and mounted flange plate. This safe spring applied air release brake's cylinder will be back after outlet air source, so it needs a certain space for its cylinder return back. Then these gasket can offer an enough distance for it.
If air is intercepted, HABB spring applied air release brake stops by braking springs. If air is supplied, it is released. If supply air pressure from flow control valve, cylinder will be move, pan head screw and piston rack rotating together, compressing braking springs, friction plate and bushing disc separated, brake released. If exhausting air pressure, springs compress piston rack, friction plate touched with bushing disc, brake linked.
This normal braking brake is also can produce high braking force from 59N.m to 451N.m. Details technical data of it as below:
From above technical data sheet, we can acknowledge that this brake is also bore shaft brake, its bore diameter is 25-75mm. Different model brake, its braking force is different, too. There are four models of this HABB spring engagement brake, including HABB-5, HABB-10, HABB-20 and HABB-40, braking torque is 59N.m-451N.m.
This HABB model brake is also a kind of friction type brake, so it can be rotating in fast speed, from 1800r/min to 3600r/min. On the other hand, because its friction plate is non-asbestos, so it is suitable for fast connecting and fast rotating.

In this case, HABB safe pneumatic friction brake is applied in automatic production line. HABB brake is fixed on a flange plate, there are four pieces of gaskets installed between brake and flange plate, it is used to protect HABB safe brake from colliding after exhausting air source for return back.
